A challenge from the Somerset Active Living Centre to decorate Martock with wool! We took the challenge and yarn bombed Martock Retro Rally!
‘ Not everything at Martock Friends Active living group is retro.’ The group meets every Thursday at Bearley House, East Street. Enjoy coffee and tea, chat and friendships, activity and entertainment. Yarnbombing seems to be all the rage so their latest project was to brighten up the Martock Rec for the Retro Rally weekend by ‘Yarnbombing’ the railings. We think it looked great and brought a smile to the faces of passers by. Did you see it? What did you think?
After the weekend the knitted strips were removed sewn together into a blanket and washed then donated to charity
Holidays and Home at Martock Friends, Donkeys, Sunglasses, Hook a Duck and Fish and Chips. Great fun for all!
