Good Neighbour Befriending Scheme

Good Neighbour Befriending Scheme

Are you lonely, or do you know someone who is? Get in touch we can help with our ‘Good Neighbour Befriending Scheme’

Everyone has a time in their lives when they feel isolated or lonely.  There are many reasons for this and it can affect people of all ages from the very young to the very old.

The scheme offers one to one home visits, along with friendship and regular social contact.  Our befrienders are also happy to support you with access to local community social events.

Good Neighbour Befrienders can step in and be there when friends and family are not around.  All volunteers are trained, supported and have current DBS checks in place.

If you would like more information about the befriending scheme here in Martock, either to become a volunteer or just to gain support and meet a befriender.
