Local Groups and Activities
Health Walking Group in Martock
Our Martock Health Walk group meet at 09.30 on the 3rd Friday of every month at the Moorlands Shopping precinct. why don't you come along and join us for a friendly walk. All levels of walkers are invited. If you would like more information please contact Caroline.
The Good Companions meet for an afternoon of friendship, refreshment and light entertainment on the
first and third Tuesday of every Month at 2pm – 4 pm at Ash Village Hall

Martock Friends Group - Martock Active Living Centre
This group meets every Thursday from 10-3pm at Bearley House in the Community Room, Martock
You will find it a relaxed and social day for seniors living in the community, with organised activities and entertainment suitable for all.
• The Entertainment is a varied weekly programme that includes guest speakers, visiting performers and lots of fun activities.
• A two Course meal is also provided.
• If you require transport this will be made available to you. • Cost is £2 for the morning session alternatively it is £10 a day which will also include a meal (there is no commitment to attend every week).

Come for Coffee
The Come for Coffee is held on the last Friday of the month from 10 until 12 midday in the Parish Hall. Come along for coffee, cake and a bacon sandwich, make new friends or catch up with old ones. Everyone is welcome.
All proceeds raised goes to local charities and the Parish Hall fund.

At Senior Support we also offer a befriending service, for those isolated and unable to join a group for whatever reason. Please get in touch and we can talk through the support available within the community of Martock. Please see the Good Neighbour Befriending web page.

Compass carers is the dedicated support service for carers across Somerset. They offer information, support and guidance as well as emotional support. They also provide training and sign posting as well as a telephone support service for unpaid carers across Somerset.
